Nuestros talleres y cursos combinan novedosos juegos de creación literaria y musical con un divertido aprendizaje y práctica de las artes plásticas. La parte de imaginación y expresión literaria facilita que los participantes imaginen y creen historias, lugares y personajes por medio de la improvisación oral, la escritura creativa y la actuación, y la parte de artes plásticas se enlaza con las creaciones literarias de manera divertida y estimula a los participantes a crear dibujos, pinturas, esculturas de personajes y alebrijes de animales fantásticos, así como pequeñas escenografías basados todos en las creaciones inventadas por los niños. Los cursos y talleres se vuelven espacios donde desarrollan al máximo su creatividad al aprender jugando.

Our workshops and courses combine new creative writing and musical composition games with a fun learning and practice of the plastic arts. The imagination and literary expression part facilitates for the participants to imagine and create stories, places and characters using oral improvisation, creative writing and acting, and the plastic arts side of the workshops links with the imaginative and creative writing part in a fun way, stimulating the participants to create drawings, paintings, sculptures of characters, and figurines of fantastic animals, as well as small scenographies all based in the creations invented by the children. The courses and workshops become spaces where they fully develop their creativity while learning by playing.

Los talleres y cursos son impartidos por dos artistas profesionales bilingües con vasta experiencia en talleres de creatividad para niños, jóvenes y adultos. Uno de ellos se encarga de la parte literaria, donde se facilita que los niños hagan volar su imaginación con diferentes ejercicios literarios que los ayudan a jugar como en las historias del tipo "Crea tu propia aventura", en las que inventan y escriben relatos con varios finales posibles, de acuerdo a las decisiones que tomen los lectores/jugadores; o bien, se divierten al jugar "Juegos de rol", en los que los niños, apoyados en una historia base improvisan en forma oral y actuada lo que sus personajes harían en los diferentes retos de la historia. Se ven también diversos ejercicios musicales para disfrutar la creación musical desde una perspectiva divertida. La otra instructora se encarga de ayudar y enseñar jugando a que los niños lleven sus creaciones de personajes y lugares a la práctica artística, con dibujos y juegos en los que crean pinturas, esculturas donde dan forma y color a animales y criaturas fantásticas, siempre utilizando materiales adecuados para fomentar y desarrollar en forma segura el descubrimiento de sus grandes aptitudes artísticas. Todos estos juegos y ejercicios estimulan su inteligencia y su creatividad, y afinan sus cualidades motoras, dándoles al mismo tiempo mayor seguridad en sí mismos y en sus poderes creativos.

The workshops and courses are imparted by two bilingual professional artists with vast experience in creativity workshops for children, teenagers and adults. One of them is in charge of the literary side of things, to facilitate the participants imagination to run free with exercises that help them play with different stories like the "Create your own adventure" types, where they invent and write stories with several possible endings, depending on the decisions made by the readers/players; or they have fun with role playing games where based on a initial situation they improvise and act what their characters would do in the different challenges of the evolving story. Also several musical exercises are given to enjoy musical creation from a fun perspective. The other instructor is in charge of teaching and helping them to learn by playing so the children take their character creation and places to the artistic practice, with drawings and games where they create paintings and sculptures to give form an color to fantasy creatures, always using proper and safe materials to develop the discovery of their great artistic aptitudes. All these games and exercises stimulate their intelligence and their creativity while refining their motricity, reinforcing at the same time confidence in themselves and in their creative powers.

SOBRE LOS INSTRUCTORES

Jaime Romero Robledo (Chihuahua 1974)

Premio Chihuahua de literatura 1998 por el libro "Los cuentos de la mujer perdida" (Solar, 1999). Residencia artística en el Writer´s Room de Nueva York (2003) por la novela "El mundo de ocho espacios, libro primero" (Averinto Editorial, 2009). Maestría en Español (Literatura hispanoamericana) en la Univ. Estatal de Nuevo México, Las cruces, NM, EUA, donde fue profesor de Español como segundo idioma.

Ha impartido cursos de creatividad para niños y maestros en el Colegio Montessori y en el Museo Casa de Juárez de Chihuahua, y talleres de creación literaria en Chihuahua, Baja California y Sonora, México.

Su literatura ha sido publicada en Antologías nacionales e internacionales así como en revistas impresas y electrónicas.

Guionista de television TV Azteca México (2004-2005).

Fue becario del programa Jóvenes Creadores FONCA-MEXICO (cuento); del Laboratorio Fronterizo de Escritores Tijuana-San Diego; del Fondo David Alfaro Siqueiros, entre otros.

Realizó la película “Cartas a Elena” del Director Barajas Llorent, como supervisor de continuidad y segundo director asistente.

Como músico se ha presentado como pianista ejectuando obra musical propia.

Cursa una carrera en diseño de juegos en Vancouver Film School a donde retornará en la segunda mitad de 2010.

Cristina Villegas

Cineasta, Guionista, Fotógrafa, Actriz, Titiritera y Profesora de Artes Plásticas.

Realizó sus estudios Universitarios en la escuela de Comunicación y Artes Gráficas de la Ciudad de Chihuahua, México. Especializándose en Cinematografía en la Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión en San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. 2006

Ha impartido cursos de Actuación Infantil, Artes Plásticas, Elaboración y montaje de obras de títeres para niños en diversos museos, escuelas y festivales en los Estados de Chihuahua, Durango, Baja California, Coahuila y Sinaloa desde 1999.

Es Guionista y Directora de Spots para Televisión, ha trabajado en la producción de Películas como “Stellet Licht” (Luz silenciosa) del Director Carlos Reygadas 2007, realizó la Película “Naica, la Cueva de los Cristales” como segundo Director Asistente 2008, trabajando también como Primer Director Asistente y Conductora para la Televisión Italiana, en el documental “Vulcano il Chichón, 30 anni dopo” del Director Tullio Bernabei, en el 2009, realizó la película “Cartas a Elena” del Director Barajas Lloren’t, como Primer Director Asistente.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS

Jaime Romero Robledo (Chihuahua 1974)

1998 Chihuahua Literary Award for the short story book “Los cuentos de la mujer perdida" (published by Solar, 1999). Artist´s residence at the Writer´s Room New York (2003) for the novel “El mundo de ocho espacios, libro primero” (published by Averinto Editorial, 2009). Master´s in Spanish (Latin American literature) New Mexico State University, Las Cruces, NM, where he was professor of Spanish as a second language.

Instructor of Creativity courses for children and teachers at the Montessori School and at the Museum of Juárez in Chihuahua City. Creative Writing instructor and workshop coordinator in Chihuahua, Baja California and Sonora, México.

His literature has been published in National and International anthologies as well as in printed and electronic magazines.

Screen writer at TV Azteca Mexico (2004-2005)

Has received grants from several writing programs: National fund for young artists of Mexico (short story); Writers Lab at the Border (Tijuana-San Diego); David Alfaro Siqueiros Fund; among others.

Recently worked in film as Script Supervisor and Second Assistant Director at the Full Motion picture “Cartas a Elena” from Director Barajas Llorent.

As a Musician has presented himself as pianist of his own musical works.

Studies a Game Design Career at Vancouver Film School, where he will go back in the second half of 2010.

Cristina Villegas

Filmmaker, Screenwriter, Photographer, Actress, Puppeteer, Plastic Arts Instructor.

Studied college at the School of communications and graphic arts in Chihuahua City, Mexico. She specialized in Cinematogrpahy at the International School of Film and Television in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba, 2006.

As a children instructor she has imparted Acting courses, Plastic Arts, Puppet making and puppet theater in several museums and festivals in the states of Chihuahua, Durango, Baja California, Coahuila and Sinaloa since 1999.

Screenwriter and Director of TV spots. Has worked in the production of films such as “Stellet Licht” (Luz silenciosa) from Director Carlos Reygadas (2007), “Naica, the cave of the crystals”, working as well as First Assistant Director (2008). She has also worked as First Assistant Director and Conductor for Italian Television on the documentary “Vulcano Il Chichón, 30 anni dopo” from Director Tulio Bernabei. In 2009 made the film “Cartas a Elena” from Director Barajas Llorent, working as First Assistant Director.
